BIO / Lisa Lynch
Lisa Lynch is a children’s author and illustrator with three published picture books, numerous articles, and award-winning poetry. A creative storyteller since childhood, she has spent more than 25 years as a professional writer.
Lisa lives in California with her family surrounded by pets, a year-round garden, and plenty of story-worthy wild creatures.
Long before Lisa became a professional writer, she was a kid in Minnesota making up stories — and she never really stopped. Today, she is an author and illustrator as well as a professional corporate writer and marketer.
Lisa has a degree in English and mass communications and a masters degree in marketing. A longtime member of SCBWI, she is also active on social media with a growing community of engaged followers.
While words have always been at the center of her creative life, illustrations give Lisa another way to tell a story, and the place where the two meet is where she feels most at home.
